Chelsea Market, New York

I'm a sucker for any place where good food, cute storefronts, and shopping all converge. If you're of the same mindset, then you'll enjoy Chelsea Market.

The glass case in the photo above isn't a display case, instead, it's a map of the market! Love little details like that.

It's easy for time to slip away in here, with each store having something to catch your eye. We wandered around the market, popping our heads into the little stores. I had to use every ounce of self control I had to keep myself from buying every mouth-watering treat I saw ;)

Do you see what I see? Chocolate bacon toffee bites 0.0

The architecture in Chelsea Market is absolutely charming - red brick walls, cool elevators, old steel pipes, and cast iron grating.

Tucked in the heart of the building is an entire seafood market! So much fresh seafood, definitely made a mental bookmark to come back for the sushi bar.

And then... just as we were about to leave, the gelato shop caught my eye. And I can never turn down a frozen treat.

Some hard thinking was done before I settled on the Olio d'Oliva Extra Vergine (extra virgin olive oil) and Panna Cotta (Fior di Latte with caramel). Doesn't everything sound fancier in Italian?
