i'm feeling 22 - part II

February 15th was my actual birthday. After a long week out of town, I was glad to be home with my family and friends to celebrate. We started off the day the right way - with a dim sum brunch! If you're in the Twin Cities and in the mood for dim sum (who wouldn't be), I would definitely recommend Yangtze. It's authentic and has a wide selection.

Some of my favorites are the shrimp dumplings, steamed barbecue pork buns, sesame and lotus paste balls, egg tarts, turnip cakes, shu mai... Oh wait, is that everything?! Suffice to say, you will have a hard time picking favorites.

After stuffing our faces enjoying the delicious food, it was time for presents! My little brother picked out the most beautiful necklace for me, all by himself. That guy has a good eye. Might I add that it only cost five dollars?! Good taste and a bargain hunter. And I can already tell that I'll be wearing that necklace almost every day. #bestbrotherever

I love my siblings :).

Later that night, I headed out with my friends to Sebastian Joe's for ice cream - the best dessert ever! You know your friends love you if they're willing to take you out for ice cream in the dead of a Minnesota winter. I got two scoops of coffee banana and raspberry chocolate chip. I should totally have gone for the "I Have a Dream "though, that's orange creamsicle with chocolate chip ice cream. Oh well, all the more reason to go back again!

With each new year comes new adventures and challenges, but I know I'm not going it alone.
My heart and flesh may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.
Psalm 73:26
